“Nourishing Community, Cultivating Change”
The Holmestead Harvest
The Holmestead Harvest is a non-profit farm dedicated to increasing food access, spreading food education, and providing transitional housing and faith-based care to aging out foster care women.
About Us
Meet Allison, the heart and soul behind The Holmestead Harvest. After struggling with health issues, Allison embarked on a journey of self-discovery and healing, which led her to the realization of the importance of quality, farm-to-table nutrition. This personal revelation sparked a desire to serve her local community, leading to the birth of The Holmestead Harvest. Today, Allison and her husband Josh are committed to tackling food insecurity and cultural detachment from real food, providing quality produce and educational opportunities to the DFW community.

Our Products
At The Holmestead Harvest, we believe in the power of fresh, locally grown produce. Our mission is to provide our community with the highest quality fruits and vegetables, all while promoting sustainable farming practices.
Availability: Our produce is available at farmers markets, farm co-ops, and farm stands in DFW. We’re proud to be a part of these vibrant communities, and we look forward to serving you.
Hydroponic Produce
We specialize in hydroponic farming, a method that allows us to grow produce year-round, regardless of the weather. Our hydroponic produce is fresh, nutrient-rich, and grown without the use of harmful pesticides.
Seasonal Fruit
We offer a variety of seasonal fruits, picked at the peak of ripeness to ensure the best flavor. Our selection varies throughout the year, providing our customers with a taste of each season’s bounty.
Microgreens
Our microgreens are grown and harvested weekly, providing a constant supply of these nutrient-dense greens. Perfect for salads, sandwiches, or as a garnish, our microgreens are a delicious way to boost your daily nutrient intake.
What Sets Us Apart
The Holmestead Harvest is more than just a farm. We are a community committed to making a difference. Our mission extends beyond providing quality produce; we aim to educate and inspire our community to embrace a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.

Donation and Nutritional Programs
We believe in giving back to our community. That’s why we participate in donation and nutritional programs, ensuring that our produce reaches those who need it most.

Demos and Classes
Education is a key part of our mission. We offer demos and classes, providing our community with the knowledge and skills to grow and make their own food.

Future Farm Tours
We’re excited to share our passion for farming with our community. In the future, we plan to offer farm tours, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how we grow our produce.
