Joshua Holmes – Executive Director
After teaching for years and transitioning to sales, Josh decided to quit the corporate world to help his wife Allison. He is the head of the growing department for The Holmestead Harvest, but also assists Allison with baking for her sister company, The Holmestead LLC. Passionate about sharing the love of Jesus through food access, he is excited to share more produce down the road for those that need it the most.
Allison Holmes – Secretary/Treasurer
Allison is a licensed esthetician with years of sales and management experience and a follower of Jesus. After a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit on a drive home from her 9-5 job, Allison quit and started a small farm and cottage bakery The Holmestead, LLC. in 2023. What started with 2 loaves weekly, led to multiple farmers markets and adding her husband, Josh, to the team. By 2025, after spending hours asking God, “What pleases you?” a new idea was born. Allison is ready to take everything to the next level, with The Holmestead Harvest’s Christ-centered initiatives.
DeeDee Stack – Board Member
DeeDee is an educator with over 30 years of experience teaching English and serving as a campus administrator. She also received training through her church as a Stephen Minister, providing Christ-centered emotional and spiritual support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. DeeDee is eager to contribute her experience and passion to The Holmestead Harvest and support its mission in the DFW community. She firmly believes that her background as an educator, administrator, and Christian leader uniquely equips her to make a meaningful difference.
